Teamwork made the NCAA Men’s Frozen Four happen.
OAI/Rainier worked hand in hand with host committee, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, the NCAA, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, and design firm, Section 127, as well as NCAA signage provider Sport Graphics Inc., to deliver a successful NCAA Men’s Frozen Four 2023 Championship.
Signage activations could be seen at Tampa International Airport, Sparkman Wharf, Embassy Suites Convention Center Downtown Skybridge, 5 Hotels including 4 Team Hotels (Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, Hilton Tampa Downtown, Westin Tampa Waterside, Hyatt House Tampa Downtown), and 1 Headquarters Hotel (Tampa Marriott Water Street), and Amalie Arena.
OAI produced non-team and team specific signage record breaking timing in just under two weeks. Printing and finishing across all formats including grand format, large format, and dye sublimation. From large-scale exterior graphics, wayfinding, locker rooms, VIP experience graphics, to Zamboni’s, event stage, video scoreboard graphics, team benches, penalty boxes, and bracket boards. Even producing a custom fabricated giant sized hockey puck for team welcomes at the airport and fan photo-op. OAI produced roughly 25,000 square feet of material.
Installation took place over the course of 3.5 days and nights, utilizing 4 different installation crews made up of 30 individuals.
OAI was also heavily involved with Project Management prior to, during and after the event. Coordinating schedules, managing budgets, ensuring proper product deliverables and allocating resources and labor.
