Long-term OAI client, Atkore, was in the midst of updating their signage and rigid signs for wayfinding, and labels for the production area as they had recently changed their logo, when they came to OAI to pick-up an order. During that visit to the OAI Headquarters, the client mused that he wanted to update their office space in a similar fashion. Business Development Associate, Noemi, said she absolutely had the contact to help with that kind of project, her! She was confident that given the opportunity to provide more than signs, that OAI could help them rebrand and reimagine their office’s look.
Noemi and the OAI creative team then went to the Atkore facility to examine the space, complete a survey (measurements and layout of the facility), and listened to the vision of the client. Noemi then sat with the designer and, together, they utilized all the insights gained from the meeting, to come up with two different designs for consideration. Following the design presentation and based on client feedback, the OAI design team blended both concepts into the final design.
The process was highly collaborative and based on expertise from all parties. Noemi recalls,
Working with Atkore has been such a rewarding experience. They let me run with the different ideas that I got from all the consultations. We fused and incorporated all the little details to create an environment they loved. The most amazing feeling was when we revealed the completed project to the managers, and they were amazed at seeing what they were envisioning come to life. The icing on the cake for this project, is that our location has showed off their training room to managers from different and they have been recognized as the most improved environment. Because of the success of this project, they have us working on other projects throughout the whole plant / production area. Our collective goal is to create the gold standard for all other divisions.
