OAI Visual Branding Helps Create Unique Home Environments for The TB Buccaneers and USF Bulls at Raymond James Stadium.
Raymond James Stadium has hosted 3 Super Bowls, a College Football National Championship, numerous College Football Bowl Games, WrestleMania, and countless concerts and shows. The approximately 67k-capacity venue also is called home by both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of South Florida Bulls. Acting in such a manner is not a small task in a sport where game day experience is essential for recruitment and retention. OAI is a game changer when it comes to ensuring that the stadium is changed over to represent either the Bulls or the Bucs.
For the 2021 football season, OAI will orchestrate the change over 6 times – transforming the building between USF and Buccaneers games. Transformation occurs in multiple areas throughout the stadium and includes:
Inner Bowl
- Field Walls
- Tunnel Covers
- Tunnel Walls
- 200 Level Railing Banners
- Vomitoriums
Stadium Exterior
- Ramp Quad Banners
- Entrance Banners
- Gate D Sponsor Fence Mesh
- Pole Banners
- East Club Mesh Window Graphics
Service Level
- Cover of Player Hallway
- Cover of 5/3 Lounge Graphics
- Banner Installation
- Bike Rack Graphics
OAI is in charge of the production, installation, removal, and project management of this process. They have to coordinate with the teams, the stadium management group, and other partners to ensure accuracy in design, placement, and timing.
As for timing, sometimes, the stadium needs to occur overnight. A standard turnover is 2 days with 7-10 people working, whereas the overnight turnover is completed in 12-16 hours staffed with 10-15 people.
